It's 7am on Saturday. My dog woke me up at 6.30 barking to get out into the garden. Thinking I'd better get up quick before there was a mess to clean up I dutifully got up, dashed downstairs and let her out. Only to find out that the reason she wanted out was to chase a neighbours cat...again. This is going to have to stop. Three mornings this week so far. Me and Bonnie are going to have a very serious conversation about respecting my Saturday morning lie-ins.

Today I felt real pain for the first time in what seems like ages.
Whilst shutting the car door this morning I somehow managed to trap my finger in the car door and ripped the nail completely off the index finger on my right hand. Ouch! Blood everywhere. Works first aider almost passed out whilst cleaning and bandaging it up. Wuss. It was me who ripped their bloody nail off, not him.
Anyway am now all patched up and have already adjusted to not using that finger to type, write etc. In other news, wheels are in motion for my trip to Wicklow, Ireland, in August *YAY* and Chicago in November *WOOT*. Can't wait. Really can't wait. Seriously.
