A nice lie in. Missed church, couldn’t face getting up. Too tired after watching anime until 2am, and 3am the previous night. Need to be up early tomorrow for work. I hate Monday’s. Damned healthy eating initiative kicks in tomorrow too. Oh well, it’s for my own good I suppose, so I’d better give it a shot this year.

3am this morning found me, Bailey, Vicky and long-haired-guy wrapped in duvets, in the common room, watching snow fall, playing StepMania and generally having a laugh. I think we all snuck back into the dorm at 5am. Mucho fun. Thankfully train was on time and got home ok. For the first time I can remember Bonnie didn’t want to leave the kennels! She’d palled up with another Westie called Lily. Awww..

McDonalds = breakfast. Mmmm. Hung out around the dorms playing StepMania, watching Yu-Gi-Oh abridged (omg crying with laughter at times) and levelling up pokemon on my DS. Lots of fun was had. Couldn’t get to sleep, neither could some others so was up late chatting, Mike told us to keep it down and on long-haired-guy’s suggestion we made for the common room

Hangover. Pretty much sums it up. Apologies made to Haruhi_Chibi. Must not drink spirits again. Must stick to beer. Higher tolerance there. Note to self. Went out and about later, ended up in an arcade watching many people doing DDR, guyinhat was very good, Neil and Adam too. A long and cold walk back to the hostel where a surprise party for Neil had been arranged, his face was priceless. Mind you, not as priceless as it had been at Big Wok when his birthday was announced over the tannoy! Lol. Lots of fun was had at the party. Need to remember that Bailey’s cocktails = death in a glass. This was the night the shower door got bust, after someone imbibed one of those now infamous cocktails…85% alcohol, am I right? Possibly more.

Meeting everyone from AL at the train station was great, putting faces and RL names to user names online. Turns out picking dorm two was a good choice – on one hand all the crazy people are in dorm 2, however on the other hand that makes me also crazy! Once we’d all settled in drinking and music ensued.

Happy New Year!My new years resolution being to give this blog a new layout and update is under way. New layout has been implemented, although I still have to finish adding links and tagboard. Profile page is done and this is my first post of 2009! The second part of my resolution was to post daily here, something I am terrible at remembering to do. As an added incentive I am going to make this blog the place I post all links to my fanfics, which should give me the prompt to post. Who knows what else I may decide to post here? May 2009 bring you health and prosperity, and me a good memory!
